Sunday, October 5 — After a 12-hour journey on the road, the BCPD relief team, led by our dynamic Director, Ms. Elizabeth Lopez, together with the Vice Directors, safely reached the communities in northern Cebu affected by the earthquake that struck on September 30, 2025, at 10:00 PM, with a magnitude of 6.9. These are the very areas where many of our students and their families reside.
Bringing with us tents, food packs, clean drinking water, and rice, the team delivered simple yet essential items that carried great meaning for families who had lost so much. Relief efforts were extended to the municipalities of Borbon, Tabogo, Bogo, and San Remigio, offering comfort and support during a time of great need.
This mission was made possible through the generosity and compassion of our donors and partners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our friends and benefactors, especially the Foundation for Professional Training, Inc. and KALFI, for sharing their resources, time, and prayers. Your kindness truly became a source of hope for Cebu.
Though the journey was long and challenging, the smiles and words of gratitude from the families we served made every kilometer worth it. Together, let us continue to rise, rebuild, and renew lives — Bangon Cebu! 💙
